We may also receive your information from other sources or indirectly, including where you are an end user of a product purchased by one of our customers. In that case, we may receive your name, phone number and email address in order to ensure you are able to use our products and to provide the organisation for which you work with technical and support services. We may also be able to access your geolocation data where the services provided by us include geolocation services. We refer to this type of data as “End User Data”.

If you tell us that you do not want us to use your information to make further contact with you beyond fulfilling your request, we will respect your wishes unless we need to continue processing your information for any other reason and are entitled to do so at law.

2. How will we use the information about you?

The following paragraphs describe in more detail how Vismo may use your personal information.

2.1 Fulfilling your Request – Customer Data and End User Data

If you request something from us, for example, a product or service, a call back, or specific marketing materials, we will use the information you provide to fulfil your request. We may also contact you as part of our customer satisfaction surveys or for market research purposes in relation to the products you have purchased. We do so on the grounds of our legitimate interests.

Where you are an end user of a product purchased by one of our customers, we will use End User Data to provide you with our services on the grounds of our legitimate interests.

Any marketing communications we send to you will comply with section 2.5 below.

2.2 Working with you or receiving services from you – Supplier Data

If you supply services to us, work with us or are one of our business partners, we may process Supplier Data to the extent necessary to continue our relationship and, where applicable, to receive services from you.

We will retain Supplier Data for 7 years beyond the end of our contract with you so that we are able to deal with any issues or queries that may arise.

Any marketing communications we send to you will comply with section 2.5 below.

2.3 Prospective Customers

We may hold information about you that we have obtained from other sources if we think you may wish to purchase products or services from us. We make sure any transfers of data to us are compliant with GDPR.

2.4 Providing Support

We also provide “Live Chat” sessions on our websites to assist you while you’re navigating through our sites; we will use personal information you provide to help you with any queries or comments you raise.

We process the personal data you provide to us via “Live Chat” on the grounds of our legitimate interests and we will not retain information you provide to us beyond the end of the “Live Chat” session, unless you wish to purchase products from us in which case your personal data will be held in accordance with section 2.1 above.

If you contact us via our website including using our “Contact Us” form, we will collect your name, email address and any other personal data you provide. We retain this information for a period of 1 year unless you purchase one of our products, in which case section 2.1 applies.
